A few pictures from the AMMA campaign
I participated in the AMMA campaign in August 2006 in Niamey by sampling rain from squall lines.
Two pluviometers and one shelter containing a humidity monitorer were installed on the roof of the IRD (Institut de Recherche pour le Developpement) building in Niamey.
We (Sandrine and I) collected rain samples on this roof every 5 minutes during the propagation of squall lines over Niamey.
Squall lines were also monitored by the C-band MIT radar.
