This directory contains the necessary files to run the Mars PCM:

Reminder : information on running the Mars PCM, details on the model  and its veversions are available on:

HERE :

- datadir.tar.gz: tarfile of the "datadir" directory which contains files
  that the PCM may need to run (e.g. topography, dust scenario, etc.) see
  the PCM documentation for details.
- datadir: the "datadir" directory (if you are uploading the model from
  LMD, you just need to upload datadir.tar.gz, and not this directory
  and its contents).
- starts: this directory contains reference archive files (from MCDv6.1 runs)
  that are needed as initial conditions to run the model. See the wiki
  page for details on using or modifying these files to suit your
  needs.
- starts_MCDv5.3: this directory contains older archive files which
  might be convenient if running in Mars PCM v5 configuration.
- "reference" setups: these tar.gz files contain sets of start and def files
  ready to use for some "standard" PCM5 and PCM6 configurations:
  reference_GCM5_64x48x32.tar.gz
  reference_GCM5_64x48x49.tar.gz
  reference_GCM6_64x48x54.tar.gz
  reference_GCM6_64x48x73.tar.gz

Note that the PCM sources files are not stored here as the model should be
retrieved using svn (subversion), as explained on the wiki page
